Paid training begins May 3, 2018 for Summer Season!
Eastern Sierra Transit Authority is seeking responsible and energetic drivers for the Summer Season. ESTA operates a number of fixed routes within the Town of Mammoth Lakes, provides access to Red’s Meadow and the Lakes Basin. These routes utilize a number of different vehicle types ranging from 25′ 15-passenger mini-buses to 40′ 37-passenger transit coaches.
ESTA provides paid training for all vehicle types resulting in a Commercial License, Passenger Endorsement and Airbrake Certification. Pre-employment and random drug screening is required as well as the ability to obtain and maintain a DMV Medical Examination Certificate. A good driving record is required.

For applicants interested in working full-time, shifts providing 35-40 hours per week can be expected from mid-June through Labor Day. Shifts for applicants who are only able to work part-time are available as well. Training time is paid at $12.50 per hour. Starting pay following completion of training is $15.25 per hour plus $0.50 Mammoth Premium pay.
