The Gray Line in Mammoth Lakes will cease operation after Friday, December 16, 2016. The majority of the current Gray Line service area will be serviced by the Red Line, Green Line and by expansion of the Purple Line and the Town Trolley route. Ridership on the Gray Line has been declining for several years and a decision was made to use the funding from the Gray Line to fund year-round expansion of the Town Trolley route in order to provide service to the Meridian Boulevard area between Old Mammoth Road and Juniper Springs Resort. This Meridian Boulevard area was identified as a service gap in ESTA’s most recent Short Range Transit Plan. Individuals who use the Gray Line to or from destinations out Old Mammoth Road beyond Aspen Village can contact Dial-A-Ride at 760.914.1315 Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm for service into town. Contact Eastern Sierra Transit at 760.924.3184 for additional information.
